DELPHI DISPLAY’S CONTRIBUTION TO THE
DAVE THOMAS FOUNDATION FOR ADOPTION SURPASSES $35,000.00
COSTA MESA, CA (March 9, 2005) – Delphi Display Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer and designer of outdoor digital video display systems for the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry, today announced that it has surpassed $35,000 in total contributions since it began working with the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption in February of 2002. The Foundation supports national adoption initiatives that directly impact more than 150,000 waiting children in North America’s public child welfare system.
“Delphi has enjoyed a great partnership with Wendy’s International and is proud to support Dave Thomas’ and Wendy’s vision of finding families for waiting children across the United States,” said Glenn Kassel, vice-president worldwide sales of Delphi. “We contribute a portion of the proceeds from each order confirmation system that we sell to either Wendy’s International or one of the company’s franchisee restaurants to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. Since its inception in 1992, the Dave Thomas Foundation has worked with Wendy’s restaurants nationally and at the local level to raise awareness for foster care adoption and support organizations that move children from foster care into loving, adoptive families.
