DELPHI DISPLAY SYSTEMS SELECTED AS AN APPROVED
SUPPLIER OF ORDER CONFIRMATION SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY
FOR WHITE CASTLE RESTAURANTS

COSTA MESA, CA (August, 27 2004) – Delphi Display Systems, Inc., a leading supplier of outdoor digital video display systems for the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry, announced today that White Castle System, Inc., has selected them as an approved supplier of drive-thru Order Confirmation System (OCS) technology.

As part of the agreement, Delphi will supply OCS technology to participating operators of the Quick Service restaurant chain known for its unique sandwiches. White Castle is considering OCS for all new store builds, remodels and retrofits where a drive-thru exists.

Located at the order point in the drive-thru lane, Delphi’s OCS delivers state-of-the-art graphic images displayed on a large format, full-color LCD monitor designed as a self-contained, robust and sealed freestanding unit. The OCS improves order accuracy and speed of service by visually confirming a customer’s purchase at the point of sale using high-resolution video, graphics or text that can be viewed in direct sunlight. In addition, Delphi’s OCS technology can function as a value-added marketing medium by displaying suggestive sell images at the point-of-purchase.
