DELPHI DISPLAY SYSTEMS SELECTED AS APPROVED SUPPLIER OF ORDER CONFIRMATION SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY TO WENDY'S INTERNATIONAL
COSTA MESA, CA – February 15, 2002 – Delphi Display Systems, Inc. was recently selected as an approved equipment supplier of drive through Order Confirmation Systems (OCS) for Wendy’s International. These devices integrate advanced digital video electronics with state-of-the-art sunlight readable color liquid crystal display (“LCD”) technology to improve the efficiency of the fast food drive through. Wendy’s is suggesting installing these LCD displays in all new store builds, remodels and retrofitting older LED technology. “We are excited to be selected as a supplier to Wendy’s for order confirmation technology,” said Ken Neeld, Delphi’s
President and CEO. “This technology will allow Wendy’s to continue to improve their drive through business and help provide a better experience for their customers.”
Located at the order point in the drive through lane, the OCS visually confirms customer’s orders to improve accuracy and speed of service. Additionally, the OCS functions as a digital marketing medium by displaying full color, high resolution, point of purchase images. Other benefits include access to hearing-impaired customers, bridging language barriers, and employee theft reduction. Mike Watson, V.
