Delphi Display Systems Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Certification

Costa Mesa, CA, July 29, 2009 - Delphi Display Systems, Inc., a leading provider of outdoor digital signage solutions, announced today that it has been recertified in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 by QAS International (www.qas-international.com). Through this certification, Delphi has demonstrated that its internal quality management systems and procedures meet the stringent requirements of the ISO standard 9001:2000 as well as the new revised ISO9000:2008 standard that increases the scope of the original, and covers customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

The ISO 9001:2008 certification is an important quality standard for customers, as it guarantees that companies have a well-functioning quality management system, which ensures transparent procedures, efficient processes, clear objectives and measurable results. After Delphi was successfully audited in July of 2009, the certification authority QAS International re-certified the company as complying with the new revised standard. "Continuous quality improvement is a key element of Delphi's corporate strategy. ISO 9001:2008 is a quality management system that is only awarded to companies who can adequately demonstrate an ability to meet stringent regulations for quality management systems," said Ken Neeld, President and CEO of Delphi Display Systems, Inc. International Organization for Standardization
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was established in 1947 and is (currently) an association of approximately 157 members, which each represent their own country. ISO employs a system of Technical Committees, Sub-committees and Working Groups to develop International Standards. Besides the National Standards Bodies, ISO permits other international organizations that develop standards to participate in its work, by accepting them as Liaison members. ISO works in accordance with an agreed set of rules of procedure, the ISO/IEC Directives, which also include requirements on the presentation of standards.
