RoHS Compliance
RoHS/WEEE Compliance Declaration
Updated: April 6th, 2009
RoHS Directive (2002/95/EC):
The Restriction of Hazardous Substances in electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) Directive was passed
into law by the European Union (E.U.). It affects manufacturers, sellers, distributors and recyclers of electrical
and electronic equipment containing lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chrome, polybrominated biphenyl
(PBB) and polybrominated biphenyl ether (PDBE). From July 1, 2006 the use of these materials has been
severely restricted in most electrical and electronic products sold in Europe.
In 2007, Delphi began the process of converting all of its products to be built in compliance with the RoHS
Directive. Review and incorporation of components supplied by our vendors and the implementation of new
manufacturing processes related to this Directive were undertaken in 2007.
Delphi Display Systems is designing and building products that are fully compliant with European Directive
2002/95/EC dealing with the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic
equipment. Compliant products have been available since October of 2007, with appropriate marks indicated
on the serial number label of all such products.
WEEE Directive (202/96/EC):
Delphi Display Systems has taken steps to comply with the European Directive 202/96/EC pertaining to waste
electrical and electronic equipment. As of January 2008 products shipped to Europe will be labeled in
accordance with the WEEE directive.
We declare that the products listed below comply with the European RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC (Restriction
of the use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment), which restricts the
following substances in electrical and electronic equipment:
