Overview Delphi’s dual 22” wide format (16x9) Dispenser-Top Display Unit (“DTU”) with 1,200 nit LED Backlight Displays has been designed to provide a unique digital media experience for motorists while they refuel their vehicles. Partnered with major oil companies like Shell, Conoco-Phillips, Chevron and ExxonMobil, Delphi has installed the DTU on most major Fuel Dispensers including those manufactured by Gilbarco Veeder-Root™, Dresser Wayne™ and Tokheim™.
Utilizing color sunlight readable LCD technology, the DTU functions as a large high resolution audio/video content delivery platform. The DTU provides retailers with a variety of viewing options to show their customers, including news, weather, traffic and promotional spots that merchandise products inside the C-Store.
The DTU can support both centralized and distributed content server architectures utilizing either wired or wireless connectivity. The centralized architecture streams video from a central content server simultaneously to an embedded receiver in each DTU via wireless or CAT5e wired connectivity.
As an option, the DTU can be configured with single or dual embedded PC players with optional interactive touch screens.
